View Product PagesIf snoring, restless nights or diagnosed obstructive sleep apnoea are affecting your sleep, the position you sleep in can matter. A Comfomatic adjustable bed gives you more control over your upper-body position so you can find a sleeping or resting position that feels comfortable for you.
We Don’t Start With The Bed. We Start With You.
Approved CodeBreathing conditions and sleep position
Snoring is common, but loud snoring together with breathing that stops and starts, gasping or choking can be a sign of obstructive sleep apnoea. NHS guidance advises people with sleep apnoea to seek medical assessment and notes that sleeping position can be important. An adjustable bed does not diagnose or treat sleep apnoea, but it can give you an easier way to adjust your upper-body position for comfort.
When snoring is disturbing your sleep or your partner’s sleep and you want more control over your sleeping position.
When obstructive sleep apnoea has been diagnosed and you want a bed that can adapt around the sleeping position recommended for you.
When you want to raise your upper body smoothly instead of relying on several pillows or a fixed wedge.
When comfort, warmth and relaxation matter as much as positioning, with optional heat and massage available on many models.
A more flexible way to position yourself
A traditional flat bed gives you very little control over position. A Comfomatic adjustable bed allows you to raise and lower your upper body and legs independently, so you can move smoothly between different positions without relying on piles of pillows. If you use CPAP or another treatment prescribed for obstructive sleep apnoea, the bed is there to support comfort and positioning alongside that treatment — not replace it.
Many Comfomatic beds can also be specified with optional heat and massage functions for added warmth, comfort and relaxation while resting. These are comfort features and are not treatments for snoring or obstructive sleep apnoea.

If you have loud snoring together with breathing that stops and starts, gasping, choking or significant daytime sleepiness, seek medical advice. Obstructive sleep apnoea can require treatment such as CPAP. A Comfomatic bed is not a treatment for sleep apnoea.
