View Product PagesChanges in movement, muscle stiffness, spasms, fatigue, weakness or balance can make everyday tasks — including getting into bed, changing position and getting up again — more difficult. A Comfomatic Sleep System gives you more control over your position and can be configured around changing comfort and mobility needs.
We Don’t Start With The Bed. We Start With You.
Approved CodeThe Comfomatic Sleep System includes dedicated anchor points for compatible Comfomatic grab rails. It is also designed to accommodate certain compatible hoists and transfer aids, including equipment such as the Sara Stedy, where suitable. This gives customers and families more flexibility if support needs change over time.
Mobility, independence and everyday movement
Parkinson’s can involve slowness of movement, stiffness, balance problems and sleep difficulties. MS can involve fatigue, numbness, balance problems, muscle spasms and stiffness. Other neurological conditions can create similar practical challenges. An adjustable bed does not treat these conditions, but it can give you more control over posture, support and everyday movement in bed.
When movement, weakness, stiffness or balance problems make getting into bed or standing up again more difficult.
When stiffness, spasms, fatigue or reduced movement make turning or adjusting yourself in bed more of a challenge.
When you want more control over upper-body and leg positioning to find a posture that feels comfortable for you.
When you want a sleep system that can adapt as your mobility, care or comfort needs change over time.
A more flexible way to position yourself
A Comfomatic adjustable bed allows you to raise and lower your upper body and legs independently, giving you more control over how you sit, lie, relax and prepare to transfer in or out of bed. We listen first, understand how you use your bed, then show you the options that may make everyday movement and comfort easier.
Once you are settled, many Comfomatic beds can also be specified with optional heat and massage functions, adding warmth and relaxation alongside the practical benefits of adjustable positioning. These are comfort features and are not treatments for Parkinson’s, MS or other neurological conditions.

Designed with changing needs in mind
For some people, mobility needs change over time. The Comfomatic Sleep System has been designed with that in mind, with dedicated anchor points for compatible Comfomatic grab rails to provide a secure, purpose-designed fitting point when additional support is wanted.
The system is also designed to accommodate certain compatible hoists and transfer aids, including equipment such as the Sara Stedy where suitable. That means the bed can continue to work as part of the wider bedroom environment if a customer’s mobility or care needs change in the future.
From powered positioning, optional heat and massage, to compatible grab rails and provision for certain mobility and transfer equipment, the aim is to create a bed that can adapt around the person rather than expecting the person to adapt around the bed.
